NAMI Sacramento is a grassroots, family and consumer self-help support and advocacy organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with severe mental illnesses.
Crossroads provides a variety of outpatient counseling services across Placer, Sacramento and El Dorado Counties. They offer education, information and therapy in areas such as anger management, family struggles, life transition and professional coaching.
The Senior Connection sponsors educational classes for older adults and caregivers on subjects ranging from fall prevention and dementia diagnosis to advice on better sleep and nutrition. They also provide a free directory of resources in the greater Sacramento area, which includes definitions of commonly used terms, information on levels of care, and guidance in determining associated costs.
