Support Groups

The hospital hosts weekly aftercare support groups for Al-Anon, Recovery Inc., Narcotics Anonymous, Addiction/Codependency Education, Codependent Anonymous, Gam-Anon and Overeaters Anonymous.

Community Partners

NAMI – National Alliance on Mental Illness

Heritage Oaks Hospital strongly supports the efforts throughout our community of NAMI by participating as a Gold Sponsor for the annual Northern California NAMI Walk event fundraiser. Every year the Heritage Oaks Hospital walk team attends the walk to help NAMI raise community awareness about mental health issues. NAMI also provides services to those individuals suffering and recovering from mental illness and to the families who support them.

Mental Health America

Mental Health America is a nonprofit organization devoted to helping all individuals to lead mentally healthy lives.

Mental Health Association – California

The Mental Health Association in California provides education, information and advocacy for all individuals requiring mental health care. They ensure that those who require such care receive mental health care on the appropriate level of care.

Action Alliance Partnership

The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention (Action Alliance), a public-private partnership, has partnered with Heritage Oaks Hospital, to strengthen the country’s clinical capacity to provide innovative suicide prevention and care. The partnership significantly advances one of the central priorities of the Action Alliance—to transform health systems and reduce suicides—and marks Heritage Oaks Hospital commitment to be at the leading edge of the transformation.
